Built to Respond: The New Springwater Fire Station

Springwater Fire Hall #2 on Snow Valley Road is complete and officially open. Built by Pegah for the Township of Springwater, the new ground-up station features a four-bay apparatus area, training space and crew facilities, and was delivered with a safety-first approach from award to handover.

A New Home for Springwater's Firefighters

Pegah Construction is proud to announce that the new Springwater Fire Hall #2 is complete and officially open. The purpose-built station serves the Township of Springwater at 1116 Snow Valley Road in Minesing, Ontario. Awarded to Pegah in late 2023, with ground broken in June 2024, the project is a significant investment in the community's emergency infrastructure and long-term public safety.

The Pegah team held the project to a rigorous schedule from start to finish. The station officially opened on Sep 09, 2026.

CONSTRUCTION SCOPE

What We Built

The station was built from the ground up, with full structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Completed scopes include advanced electrical installations to the project's detailed specifications, mechanical systems by IM Mechanical, locking and access control systems, fall protection infrastructure, and full site landscaping, including septic fields, curbing, and sodded areas.

The design was reviewed and owner-approved in early 2024. It includes dedicated apparatus bays, crew quarters, and all the support spaces a modern fire station requires.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Safety at the Core of Everything We Do

From day one, health and safety were non-negotiable on this site. The project followed a comprehensive Site-Specific HSE Plan, emergency response protocols, subcontractor safety management, and regular job hazard assessments.

In April 2025, the team responded promptly to an MOL order by implementing a full Fall Protection Plan. That response reflects Pegah's commitment to transparency and continuous improvement on every job site.

Handed Over and Ready to Serve

With construction complete and the station handed over, Fire Hall #2 is now ready to serve Springwater's growing southern communities for decades to come.
